The garden patio of a Chez Sophie house — the pool among palms and white lounges

Marrakech · Oualidia · Tangier

Five houses to live in, in Morocco.

The simplicity of luxury

Three cities

Marrakech, Oualidia, Tangier — a single spirit.

Tangier Oualidia Marrakech 3 riads
Marrakech · Oualidia · Tangier

« It is the warmth of a smile over a mint tea, an emotion at the sound of an opera aria played on the piano, the melodious song of the muezzin at dusk before a pool rising from a luxuriant garden, the passing of birds that stirs a book read at sunset over the ocean. »

— the “Chez Sophie” spirit
  • Marrakech three riads in the medina
  • Oualidia a house over the lagoon
  • Tangier a residence in its garden

The story

It all began in 1995, by chance, on a journey.

Sophie Raynal, then an architecture student, fell in love with Morocco and set about renovating, one after another, five houses in Marrakech, Oualidia and Tangier — with one watchword: the demand for authenticity.
